Course on Pallottine spirituality |

 As part of the ongoing formation programme organised at "Cenacle" - The International Centre for Pallottine Formation in Rome, a Course on Pallottine spirituality was held from 1-10 July 2009. 17 participants coming from various entities of our Society participated in this Course, which included inputs on Pallottine spiritual themes by experts on Pallotti and other members of the Union of Catholic Apostolate, visit to the places associated with our Founder in Rome, group discussion, plenum and meaningful liturgical celebration. These ongoing formation programmes, regardless of the time, energy and money spent, are greatly contributing towards a more profound and experiential knowledge of our Founder and his spirituality, a universal vision of the Pallottine family and a clearer and stronger sense of our identity as Pallottines. Thanks to the participants, the Major Superiors, the General Secretariat for Formation, the Italian Province and the Local Community of "Cenacle".
At the concelebrated Eucharistic celebration presided over by Rector General, Fr. Fritz Kretz, in our Church SS. In Onda, were also present the Pallottine sisters participating in the Formation Course presently in the Generalate House of the Pallottine Missionary Sisters. In his homily, the Rector General emphasized that we can no longer remain mere “spectators” but need to plunge into the deep river of Pallotti’s spirituality and know and love him as profoundly as possible. Meeting of the three indian Major Superiors |

The Rector General participated at the meeting of the three Major Superiors and their Vicars of the Pallottine entities in India. The meeting was held from 1-2 July 2009 at the Institute of Philosophy in Assagao, where more than 70 students are studying at the moment. The principal themes considered were, above all, the common Institutions of the three entities, like the Institute of Philosophy in Assagao, the Institute of Theology in Mysore and the Pallottine Animation Centre (PAC) in Nagpur. All these Institutions have a great role to play in the formation of future Pallottines, and also for the growth of the Union of Catholic Apostolate in India.
It was also decided to establish a Pallotti Institute in Mysore with the scope of coordinating, promoting and spreading the Pallottine charism and literature especially in the English language.

Official Visitation in Belarus |

 In the period from 21 June to 1 July 2009, the Vicar General, Fr. Zenon Hanas SAC visited the Pallottine communities in Belarus. The presence of Pallottines in the territory of Belarus dates back to 1937 when the first Pallottine community was created at Bereza Kartuska. The work of our confreres has been interrupted by the outbreak of the World War II. After the changes that took place in Europe following the war, the priests of the Society of the Catholic Apostolate came to Belarus in 1990. At present, in the Delegature of the Holy Archangel Michael in Belarus, there are nine Pallottine priests. Their main task is to work in various parishes. Our confreres engage in pastoral activities in the three languages that are used by the faithful according to need and place: in Belarusian, Russian and Polish. Parish ministry is carried out in collaboration with the two communities of Pallottine sisters. The parishes entrusted to the Pallottines are very diverse in their nature: sometimes they are in regions where the Catholic Church is a diaspora, in other places the faithful of the Catholic Church create very lively Christian communities. A reason for joy and hope is the fact that in the Pallottine seminary in Ołtarzew there are more than 10 Belarusian candidates studying for priesthood. PHOTOGALLERY |

The Catalogue SAC 2009 is printed and sent out to all the Major Superiors. In the new Catalogue, which has not undergone any major change in its form, you will find the latest structural changes that have occurred in the Society with the birth of the new Region of the "Most Holy Trinity" (Cameroon and Nigeria) in Africa and the constitution of the single German - Austrian Province of "Sacred Heart" in Europe.
